Daily Reading: 23rd October 2015

Continued from yesterday

When I was with them I kept and guarded them by Your name, which You gave to Me, and none of them were lost, except the son of perdition, so that the scriptures should be fulfilled.

But now I am coming to You, and I say these things whilst in the world that they should have My joy fulfilled within themselves.

I have given them Your word, and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I do not ask that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.

Consecrate them in the Truth; Your word is Truth.

Even as You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world.

And I consecrate Myself so that they also might be consecrated in truth.

But it is not only about them that I ask, but also about those believing in Me because of their word.

That they might all be one, even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they might also be in us, so that the world might believe that You did send Me.

And the glory which You have given to Me I have given to them, so that they might be one even as We are One.

I in them and You in Me, that they might be perfectly one, so that the world might know that You sent Me and You loved them, even as You love Me.

Father, I desire that those whom You have given to Me, might also be with Me, so that they may see My glory , which You gave to Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Righteous Father, although the world has not known You, I have known You, and these Men know that You sent Me.

And I have made known to them Your Name and I will make it known, so that the love with which You love Me may also be in them and I in them.
