John 12.24-26 cont.

24 In all sincerity I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it should die it will bear a lot of fruit.

25 The person who loves his life will lose it, and the persons who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

26 If anyone should serve Me, he must follow Me, and where I am My servant will be also. If anyone should serve Me My Father will honour him.

Throughout our life there are various people or things that grab our attention and become an absolute priority for us. These change as we progress through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

Whatever grips us soon becomes the axis on which our life revolves.

As we know, some of what becomes the focal point of our attentions is good, while others are not good.

What we sow into our life will reap a harvest. If we sow into the things of this world then we will reap a harvest that is of this world.

If we sow into the things of God then we will reap a harvest that is rich in the Holy Spirit.
